Harrison Anglers
Harrison Anglers offers a unique way to experience the
Deerfield, Millers Rivers, and Connecticut rivers. We float the
rivers in a 13’ Aire raft with a full NRS fishing frame. It comes
with two padded swivel seats complete with cup holders. The
seats are raised above the guide sitting in the middle of the raft
and are a pleasure to fish from. The boat also has an anchor
system so pulling over and wade fishing is also an option. A
typical full day float will begin at the put-in, where we will unload
the raft and begin to gear up. Instruction on different aspects
of floating the river will be given at this point. Your guide will go
over safety instructions, techniques for successful fishing from
a raft, and other pieces of information that will aide in your
float. Once these different concepts have been discussed, the
float will begin. A lot of the fishing will be done from an
anchored position and some wading may be necessary. On full
day floats a deli lunch will be served on the river bank and
refreshments will be included. Feel free to bring along any
beverage or snack that you would like. We will have a camera
on board and will be taking photos throughout the day. After a
full day or afternoon of fishing we will be arriving at the takeout
before dusk and there will be a shuttle vehicle waiting to take
us back to your car.
